Karen Caruana is a Malta-based fine artist and illustrator. She has been studying Fine Art since 2001, works mainly with painting and is mostly intrigued by colour, form, facial expressions, and captured movement. Most of the time she works through a painting with the aim to understand and indirectly tackle personal struggles along the whole process, using visual imagery as a ritual or confession to reach out to herself and sometimes others.
