tried tenebrism/dramatic illumination.. kind of chiaro scuro..
have to admit.. its a bit difficult ^^;

First of all congrats with this result :handshake:
hmmm with the use of light it reminds me on Rembrandt ;)
maybe you used a bit to much light.. also the background is very nice
and of course the expression on the face is Intense :nod: I really like it
I think just a bit less light and maybe the background a little bit darker = the figure will come even more out. ( i think :hmm:)
But still i can only give a comment in what i see (i cant paint..should try it hehe =p)

hehe yep you're right.. i wished the background was darker also cos like that its definitely not tenebrist loll... but i was kinda afraid of losing that texture.. cos i like it :D
