We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. hmmm with the use of light it reminds me on Rembrandt
maybe you used a bit to much light.. also the background is very nice
and of course the expression on the face is Intense
I think just a bit less light and maybe the background a little bit darker = the figure will come even more out. ( i think
But still i can only give a comment in what i see (i cant paint..should try it hehe
